A bunch of stuff

Ok so I haven't posted on here in awhile because my life has been chaotic and my internet access times have been few and far between. But Clay gave me his old laptop so now I can get online at coffee shops.

We shared 20 bucks with one guy for some needs of his, 5 bucks with a guy for lunch at his work, 20 bucks with a lady for pain medication and groceries, 130 with a guy for rent, and 358 with a family for rent help. Part of the 358 was in the purse and part of it was given in response to an email sent out requesting help.

Right now the community purse is completely cleaned out, so that's cool.

  1. Dan, my mother & I attended service with Pilgrims in the Park two weeks ago and enjoyed the fellowship immensely, as well as the lively discussion. Lenni had mentioned there was a pot luck later, but I didn't know if anyone and everyone was welcome or it was just for those in need of a meal. I plan on visiting again in August on 5th Sunday and would like to attend the pot luck. Can I cook and bring something? What are the pot luck 'rules'? Thanks - Cindy Robertson

  2. Yes it is for anybody who wants to join
we will not talk down just be welcome with open arms&&its for anyone

yes we would love for you to cook and bring something! please do. but you don't have to, and we all eat together, rich, poor, and in-between :)

Healthy is good, but not required
Not too many rules, we just set out the food, take volunteers to be servers, stand in a circle to welcome everyone and say a prayer, and then get to eating.
