Good sharing

We shared $45 bucks with a friend to help pay his rent, and then $10 to buy groceries. He cooked me breakfast after that, and that man can cook! Delicious.

We shared $50 with a friend to help pay his rent, he's really in an unstable living situation right now and it's hard. What is it with landlords? Sometimes I suspect that being a landlord is an intrinsically evil thing. Or more accurately, I strongly believe that it's an intrinsically evil thing.

We also were able to share $40 with a friend of ours to help with whatever he needs to spend money on. He's a great guy who's been helping out a lot at the garden (really has done more work than anyone else and has put money into it).

Sharing is caring

So a friend of ours left the mission because he didn't like it and now he's staying in a place that costs 50 bucks a week. He's trying to find work with mixed success; yesterday we shared $50 bucks with him to get his rent paid for the next week and we also shared $15 with him so he won't be sweating food for the next few meals. It felt really great :) Thanks for making it possible. Right now we don't have any money in the purse except for $400 that has specifically been set aside for a particular family's needs.

Rent help

This last weekend we used 42 bucks of purse money on rent for a lady who has like 7 or so kids. Way to go Andrew and Ben for finding that need! We don't really have any money in the purse right now.

And I have a mailing address again!! Finally. It's to the right on this page, in the red letters.
